    I bought this one:

I'm not sure if it is the best but it pushes enough air for all my needs and I had a bunch of lowe's store credit I needed to use. They make one that is almost the same that is 2-stage that costs more.
The difference between single and 2-stage is the 2-stage will run at much higher pressures. Some people say they are quieter but all the ones I have used are just as loud if not louder.
They didn't have this one when I bought mine but it would work well and the price is good, not as big either:

Patrick, this is the one I have in my dads garage, burnt up several little ones til I got smart and just bit the big one as big as I could get at the time. Never even blink at it other than draining the tank of water twice a year.

If I were you, I would buy similar from Eaton, nothing less than a two stage unit, tank size is up to you. And I love the fact you can order in color you want. http://www.eatoncompressor.com/page/page/504747.htm

I would pony up for the 120 gallon, same size all the way up.
