Oh sure retract your order now I don't have an excuse to drive down to sac. I was hoping to make it down there early this winter (Nov or Dec) and have a few with the locals. Oh well just need to think of another excuse.

I inspected and approved the sample piece last Wednesday. They were finishing up the last few sets Friday afternoon when I called. I will try to get down there to pick them up Monday.

Sure, can you fit thirteen pieces of 8' and 10' steel in your Volvo I need to get down the hill for some errands anyway. I do need some more tube bent for my cage though.

I will be heading up North this next weekend for a short getaway and to pickup a tubing bender I just purchased near Placerville. This would be a perfect time for me to get the quarter guards up North for all you guys. We will have to figure a meeting place and will probably need some help distributing them on to those a little further North or West from the Sacramento area. I know there is talk of a meeting in Elk Grove if that happens this weekend that would work out perfect.

I can store and help distribute them in the area around Sac (50 or so mile radius). I'm in Elk Grove, between I-5 and 99. I wont be home untill Sunday morning around 8:30 am.

I picked the quarter guards up this afternoon. I took a few pictures for all of you to see. They came out real nice. I will try to get one cut down soon so I can get a picture on the bronco and matched up to the BC corner guard. They had my corner guard and a section of a bronco quarter (thanks Patrick) to match up to so they came out good. They scratched a lot of orange paint of my freshly painted corner guard though
I may have to modify my plans for this weekend. One of our ranch foremen had a relative pass away and I may have stick around to take up the slack, were in the middle of calving season. I'll keep you posted, I may have to just make a day trip up Thursday of Friday instead. If this happens maybe someone could meet up with me and pass these along.

Those turned out great!! Thanks again. I'll be working in Roseville on Thursday, and I'm not sure where on Friday (maybe Mather off HWY 50), but if you need to drop those off with someone, I'll do my best to meet up with you. After 4:00 is the most realistic (probably a little late in the day for you, if you're going back to Shaver Lake that night), but if can make your way to my job site, any time would be OK. No sweat if someone else is less "out of the way", just let me know what you need.
