I had strained my hamstring about three weeks before the race, really bummed me out. My goal if 100% was 2:44-2:46, and I was maintaining that goal pace until mile nine, then the pain started coming on and I decided to back off and enjoy the experience, ending up at 2:57. Wasn't what I wanted, but then you can't always get what you want and there's always next year, and that time is still fast enough to be invited back in the first wave again, so it isn't all that bad.Comment
