  • Southbay to Lodi Stampede!

Okay boys and girls! Thought we should start the planning process so we can hopefully get on the same page. I know there is a group meeting in Livermore. I figure if we can have a couple spots we can meet and group up it will be easier rather than joining as we drive by. So here is the plan. For the Morgan Hill folks, figure out a meeting place and time to leave. I believe the Livermore group wanted to meet at 7-7:30 off 580. So calculate the time to leave there so we can meet up on time. For the Sunnyvale area group, we can meet at the Lucky's Store at Mathilda/Maude. The time's will come into play as we go along so we can be somewhat coordinated. Please let me know if anyone else wants in on a meeting place to ease the planning. I will add names and places as we get closer.

Morgan Hill place and time: Safeway on W. Dunne @6:00 am
    1) Doug
    2) Ken
    3) Cruz family
    4) Tim
    5) Wayne

Sunnyvale place and time: Lucky's 484 N Mathilda Ave meet 6:00 leaving 6:15. Starbucks, Lucky's and donuts.

    1) Brad and Lindsey
    2) Steve and Jessica (yahoo group)
    3) Paul (Might have to be at WH early)
    4) Stuart and his co-pilot
    5) Jay

Livermore place and time: McDonalds @ Vasco / North Front

    1) Tony
    2) helomech

I will update as often as I can

    Brad

A little farther North on Vasco, on the left is a shopping center where a PW market used to be. Given that the store is closed there's tons of parking there. Will be easier for those who may have trailers to gather there.

DBlue351 mentioned leaving "early" from Livermore. I don't know what time that means but we'll figure that part out.

Put me on the Livermore list, with a possible +1. I believe Dave said he'd have his little ones in tow as well...

Mapquest says that it will take about an hour to go from MH to Livermore...

So MH folks should plan on leaving at 0600 if we plan to meet up with the Livermore convoy at 0700-0730.

Suggesting Safeway parking lot at West Dunne as a meeting spot. There is food and fuel there... Quick access to Hwy 101 and a Starbucks across the street

I'd like to hook up with the Sunnyvale group, but I don't get off work until 0630. Jay

I was trailering, but I got my cruise control installed in the 68...

I am limited to 65 mph, so... I might hang behind the trailer folks.

I think Wayne is running over the pass since he is coming from Salinas...

I think Tim is trailering his from Prunedale

Other than cells, any other form of communication? CB, HAM? I see the folks coming up from Clovis will be on 14 on the CB. I have both HAM and CB.
