Always a cool thing to watch a building be demolished in a controlled/planned manner. I was over in Hayweird yesterday for other reasons and it is very odd to look up there and not see that building anymore. It was one of my visual waypoints in the pre-gps days for whenever I'd make a wrong turn over there. Lick Observatory always served the same purpose for me in the south bay, and a few other landmarks in other parts of the bay area. Guess I just rely on GPS now. LOL.
