Help! same transimission problem, second tranny in a row

Ok, so my bronco has been sittin in the driver way for over 8 months because of a 'bad' tranny. what happened last time is that the detent closest to the engine block on the standard 3spd RAT transmission, got stuck. and when i took the thing out the spline that went into the flywheel was cocked at an angle and totally killed the clutch. so new transmission months later, and i just reconnected my floor shifter, and put the clutch in and tried moving the linkage around and what do ya know, same thing happened.

what the hell is goin on? both detents moved freely before.

please if anyone can shed some light on this, i would be very greatful.

sounds like your shifters are out of adjustment. or that the 3 speed sux...either way put a 4 speed in it they never work just right.

hah i wish i had the funds to put in a new tranny, but i'm as broke as a jeep any one else ever have this problem?

hey...there was a c4 w/ a bronco 20 and aa adapter on pirate4x4.com the other day....he on;y wanted 400 I think. which means 250 or 300
