Personal experience:
I mounted an XRC-8 in the ARB bumper on my Super Duty. Earlier this year when we went to Gore VA we followed the GPS up some ones country driveway. When we realized we were in the wrong place we backed out the Super Duty with 36' trailer (Bronco inside) and got it stuck with the passenger front tire in a small creek bed on the side of this persons driveway. With the hounds barking in the back ground we got the recovery gear out of the Bronco in the trailer. We strapped a tree, hooked up a snatch block to double the capacity and all 20,000lbs was unstuck in a few seconds. The winch paid for itself with one pull!
