intank fuel sender/pump

ben struggling with how to mount an intank pump in a custom fuel cell. I think this will be my solution.

The sending unit is out of a 87 bronco. I cut approx 3.5 inches out of the supply line, used a compression fitting to remount the sending unit, and plan to use a mustang style pump (prolly a walbro 255) Anyway, here is a pic of what Im talking about.



Any reason people think this wouldnt work?

That's kinda how mine is set up and I fabed up a holder around it so it has some support
