SO i have been trying to fire the motor up and all that happens is the soliniod just clicks. i have a brand new gear reduction starter from toms. ground wire from the batt to the motor (even one from the motor to the frame). battery has a charge on it and the only wires i disconnected was the oil pressure sending unit, water temp, and the one red wire that goes to the + coil. i ave been trying to fire this 8!TCH up and am 150% lost. does anyone know what i could be doing wrong.
Lets see if everything is right.
looking at the solinoid from left to right
The + battery is connected to the left side of the soinoid
red/blue wire on the left side of solinoid
brown wire is on the right side of the solinoid
starter wire on the other end of the solinoid
starter is in the bellhousing.
I have even hooked up the old starter to see if that was the problem.
I HATE electrical stuff hahahahaha
