How i am going to miss my tall gears. Well when do you guys wanna leave from the east bay? We can all meet up off of vasco or the first grantline. Yes there is two.

EDIT:
the reason for the first grantline is those who dont want to go over the Altamont can take the greenville exit and take the lowert pass straight to grantline.

What gear ratio are you switching to?

I'm not sure my Bronco is going to be driveable at that time, depending on what I find with my leaky transfer case this weekend. That plus finishing my doors and rear bumper, and its not looking promising for my Bronco to make the trip. I may or may not go, not sure at this point

As my Bronco is still up in the air on stands, I'll be driving the truck. Anything needed? Have a Weber, drum smoker, fire pit, whatever. Let me know.

Can also contribute to the food. Make some mean pulled pork.

Brian you have no idea how badly I want to "fix it right". I'm trying to be a little more "financially responsible" with my Bronco-related purchases this year (lol... financial responsibility and Bronco in the same sentence - that's gotta be a first). I will do an Atlas one day, but likely at the same time I do an overdrive tranny conversion too. I don't want to start that snowball rolling downhill just yet.

Oil leaks irritate me to no end. I spent way too much time cleaning and sealing to accept an oil leak at this stage in the game. I know its par for the course with an old rig... but I did a complete rebuild on my D20 and I guess I'm setting the bar high. My Chebby with almost 168K miles doesn't leak a drop of anything. My EB with 2K miles on this running gear shouldn't either.

Feed back wanted!!! We (chip and i) have a friend that caters BBQ. Any one opposed to gust bringing him in for the 27th and letting him cook for everybody at the expence of about $5-6 a meal that you buy from him ( tri-tip sand , carne-asada sand, beans, salad etc.) or doing the typical you bring a side and we bbq ourselves... I am perplexed on this one and need some feedback. Thanks jeff

I thought you were going to handle the "meat" I think it's much easier to pay a few bucks and let someone else do the cooking so we have more time to B.S.
